Description

This is a one-of-a-kind denim jacket constructed entirely from two pairs of reclaimed 100% cotton jeans. This piece reimagines existing materials through unique construction and hand-worked detail.

Flowing curved panel seams that create movement across the garment in an asymmetrical, balanced desgin. The sculptural seam lines meet precisely at the center front, emphasizing the jacket’s balanced construction with unconventional seam lines. Hand-worked sashiko stitching highlights select panels, drawing inspiration from visible mending traditions and adding subtle texture throughout.

Reclaimed belt loops from the original jeans have been incorporated as decorative accents across the front, preserving elements of the garments’ previous life. Finished with a center front zipper, the jacket has a clean, boxy fit that sits at the natural waist.

This is the only Rosalind Jacket of its kind. While similar jackets can be created by commission, every future version will differ due to the reclaimed materials and individually hand-worked details. No two pieces will ever be exactly alike.
