This jacket is a one-of-a-kind reversible denim jacket that reverses into a beautiful vintage quilt. Fully Reversible Bomber-inspired Jacket that features a whimsical color palette and hand finished stitching details that imbue it with folky warmth. It’s minimal denim flip-side with contrast topstitching offers a timeless second look making this an ideal piece of travel or your inner-Gemini that loves to keep things fresh.
The denim side uses 100% cotton 8oz denim twill with white topstitching. The quilted side is covingly cut from a vintage quilt with an iconic “Dresden Plate” pattern. The hand basting on this quilt was left intact as an homage to the original quilter. This is a fully reversible jacket, with no exposed seams, no tags. The quilted layer makes this jacket warm enough to wear as a winter coat, while being lightweight enough to not add bulk to an outfit.
This is the only Beatrice Jacket of its kind. While similar jackets can be created by commission, every future version will differ due to the reclaimed materials and individually hand-worked details. No two pieces will ever be exactly alike.
